Davina, thanks for your questions!

Basically, I think the US ways of doing business, therefore also social media best practices, can be translated pretty much one-to-one to other Western-type markets. What might not, at least initially, be as important as I've understood it to be in the US is ROI measurement in terms of money, and in Europe, marketing language tends to be somewhat less aggressive than in the US.

Social media adoption among businesses will most probably happen at a slower rate in many other markets outside the US. In a way, this is good. Businesses will be able to avoid teething problems and initial mistakes, and the vendors helping them get on board will also have time to - as you say - learn from your growing pains and be able to offer more to-the-point solutions.

I hope this answered your questions. If not, feel free to shoot another one in my direction! I'm sure Mark won't mind us using his platform.

I'll ask Kimmo a question (or two): Mark asked about adoption and hurdles, you mentioned company Facebook pages using the same PR boilerplate. As an outside observer, what trends in U.S. social media do you see not translating well to other markets?

Anything we're doing wrong, or you will do better having learned from our mistakes and growing pains?

Look forward to your answers.
